Based in Florida, Joy has a diverse educational background, including a Master's in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University and certifications in family practice and child psychology.

Joy Mowett-Fuller DNP, PhD, AAPRN, MSN, BC

Joy Fuller is a native of the beautiful island of Jamaica. As a family practitioner, patient education, health promotion, and illness prevention are a significant aspect of the practice. She is very compassionate and efficient in working with patients of diverse ages, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Graduate School: Doctor of Nursing Practice & Master of Science degree in Nursing with a sub-specialty in Family Practice from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.

Certification: AANP Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Undergraduate: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lynn University (Magna Cum Lade) in Boca Raton, Florida; School of Nursing degree from the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica; Child Psychology degree from the University of the West Indies (with Distinction) in Kingston, Jamaica.

Baptist Integrated Physician Partners (BIPP) is a clinically integrated network of highly respected physicians who, along with Baptist Health System, have chosen to actively collaborate and participate in ongoing clinical initiatives—which improve the quality and efficiency of care provided to patients.

Recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home

A Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront. They build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams.

Marcos Medical Care earned a Level 3 PCMH recognition in November 2016 from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. A Level 3 recognition is the highest level that can be achieved.

Blue Distinction Total Care

Blue Distinction Total Care is a designation awarded by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies to doctors and hospitals recognized for their efforts in coordinating total patient care.

BCBS compares the performance of doctors to their peers in the same specialties. BCBS recognizes both Dr. Marcos and Dr. Malarcher with a blue ribbon award—indicating that they meet or exceed expected quality related performance compared to other doctors.

Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Award

The Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Award recognizes physician practices that have demonstrated outstanding performance in the percentage of patients who are Medicare beneficiaries screened for depression and/or alcohol use over a 12-month period. Silver Award recipients are providers performing in the top 10 percent in their state for alcohol screening measures or depression screening measures. The award is from TMF Quality Innovation Network.
